Your Morning Coffee all over the Floor

Due to the type of industry I am interested in, anything that creatively integrates coffee seems to grab my attention like a shiny new penny. This growing java ADD self-diagnosis has put me under amusing scrutiny by friends and family. This ultimately may explain the thought process surrounding this current article. But yet again…I digress. So to the point. Recently, I was searching for new rug options at my home and checked out a website that was recommended to me by a savvy interior designer friend. Knowing that many interior designers can be taste fairies that are not always sensitive to reasonable consumer pricing, I was apprehensive. Yet after some mild research I was impressed enough by the array of options (and pricing) for this product. When punching in the website my attention immediately gravitated towards their new line of textures and colors called Morning Coffee. This unique product group includes robust shots of texture in eight subtly blended coffee color variations, and the texture is firm yet smooth underfoot. With up to 41% post-industrial recycled content it's one of FLOR's most durable products. When laid parquet-style the stimulating blend of color and texture brings a buzz to any room. The 8-color range of the Morning Coffee line includes: Dark Roast, Organic Blend, Latte, Cappuccino, Decaf, Espresso, Half & Half, and Mocha.

But what is FLOR exactly? Fair question.

FLOR is a design system of 19.7-inch (50cm) squares that come in a range of colors, textures and patterns. They are all designed to coordinate together so you can mix-and-match styles to create custom designs to fit any space that reflect your own unique design personality.

And in my opinion, the best attributes is that there is no need for glues, nails or even padding with this product. Their clever non-toxic adhesives connect the tiles to one another and not to your floor, so there's no issue with damaging hardwood, natural stone, or ceramic surfaces.

The FLOR company boasts that their modular format means messes and spills are no problem. Just pull up a single tile to clean or replace - no need to invest in a new rug or carpet for an entire room. This is a large reason why I was interested in learning more about the product. Plus, FLOR's versatile squares let you create area rugs, runners and wall-to-wall designs of any size. And there is always the option to add or remove tiles to get that perfect fit.

FLOR's flexibility is ideal for any room - living rooms, dining rooms, any room in your home and today's open office environments. You can easily define spaces, add style or creative distinctive traffic patterns in your home or office work areas. Most FLOR styles are commercially-rated, or have specific styles and colors suitable for office environments and high traffic.
